There is widespread excitement surrounding the use of mobile devices to enhance the capabilities of peripheral health workers. Various projects have been initiated to provide healthcare workers with mobile devices, enabling them to perform a range of tasks.

Given the limited access to information on contemporary agricultural methods through technology-based platforms, developing communities' remote locations and transitory practices make them especially susceptible to food insecurity. illuminAid and CRS were able to ensure the Joint Emergency Operation’s implementation of a community-based early warning system that alerts community members to risk knowledge, risk monitoring, risk communication and increasing risk preparedness.

As you may know, our four-day workshops are full-day intensive trainings on the creation and dissemination of educational videos. During those four days, we cover everything from turning on a camera to editing a video to displaying a video on a projector in a remote community without electricity.
